GreenSet® Grand Prix Cushion is a padded synthetic resin court, composed of a mixture of high density rubber particles, mineral fillers and treated natural cellulose fibres. The principles of this court have been studied to offer the maximum comfort and a quality of play of the highest level possible.
 
Playing surface

Composition
The system is composed of overlapping layers of compatible and complementary materials, which are presented in the following manner:
  • Base layers: expected duration of 25 years and more
  • Coating: expected duration from 7 to 10 years
  • The base layers have been designed to build up a specific
        support to the GreenSet surface

  • GreenSet Formula Foundation: gravel from river or quarry,
        compacted in two layers, according to GreenSet’s Technical
        Specifications
  • GreenSet Asphalt Formula: two bituminous layers to achieve
        both solidity and stability
  • GreenSet Cushion: three layers of fine rubber granules /
       mixture of resin
  • GreenSet linking layer: a base layer, which seals the
       bituminous subbase. It serves as the basis for the upper
       layers and links the asphalt subbase and the acrylic
       elements of the upper layers
  • GreenSet Grand Prix playing surface: two layers of resin,
       mineral fibres and solid components, which give strength and
       elasticity to the system and also depth to the colour. A finish
       layer, composed of a mixture of resin, very thin micrograins,
       structured in depth, which have high quality red pigments,
       with linking elements, solid fillings and carefully selected
       silica.

  • Court characteristics
    The GreenSet Grand Prix Cushion surface is composed of a mixture of resins, rubber granules and other selected additives, which offer a completely homogenous, flexible and durable plan. The GreenSet Grand Prix Cushion layers can be applied on new courts, or on existing GreenSet courts. It can also be applied on other types of courts, but these must be of good quality. GreenSet courts are long lasting. Furthermore, its resurfing is easy, quick and cheap, and once completed, the surface seems new.

    Recommendations for a successful application
    A clean surface, without oil stains, grease, etc. is required.
    It is advisable to wait a minimum of 10 days between the asphalt layer and the application of the resin.
    Minimum outdoor temperature 10ºC in the sun during the day, 7ºC overnight, 12ºC in a covered room both day and night.
