| Why are the XTRAICE rinks called "ecological"? |

 XTRAICE is ecological due to its characteristics with regard to the environment:
Zero energy expenditure, in contrast with other ice rinks which suppose an energy consumption equivalent to approximately 300 households. It doesn't require any water consumption, it is a non-toxic product, the cleaning of the surface is carried out with neutral and non-aggressive detergents, it is a totally recyclable product and the use of the rink doesn't produce any noise.

| Do you need special skates to skate on an ecological XTRAICE ice rink? |

NO. You can use the same blade skates as you normally use for figure skating, or other sports on ice (hockey) |

| What type of surface and which measures do you need to install an ecological XTRAICE ice rink? |

The surface can have any shape (square, rectangular, circular,...) and any size according to its use (Shopping Centres, Educational or Sports Centres, Exhibitions, Hotels).

| Does the installation and assembly of the rink require the assistance of XTRAICE engineers/technicians? |

Thanks to the easy assembly system, no specialised staff is required.
In the initial price, we include the assistance of an Assembly Supervisor who will give a brief training and useful advice to your technicians before they start the installation. |

| What is the normal delivery time, once the order is placed? |
 |
Taking into account that the delivery time depends on the volume of the order and the place of delivery, we can say that the maximum delivery time takes between 5 and 7 weeks. On the moment a client contacts us and we receive his details and the place of delivery, we will reply with information about the delivery time and any other details on the shipping. |

| How long does the assembly an ecological XTRAICE ice rink takes once the product has been delivered? |

The only requirement to assemble the panels is a plane surface. Experience shows us that a rink of 200 m2 can be installed in about 1 day's work. |

| What type of maintenance does the rink require once it has been installed? |

| What is the size and thickness of an ecological XTRAICE ice rink? |
 |
The size of the Xtraice panels is 2mx1m, although we have to take into account that some of the available surface is lost in the assembly of the tongued and grooved joint of the panels, leaving a final skatable surface of 1.965x0.965. The panels are 200mm thick.

| Can exposure to extreme sunlight or very high or low temperatures affect the quality of the rink? |
|
NO. The quality of the surface is not affected at temperatures within the tolerance range of -100ºC and +80ºC. The panels also receive a UVA protection treatment. Anyway, it is advisable to cover the rink to protect it from extreme sunlight or temperatures, e.g. to avoid the forming of a layer of frost.

| How many people can use the rink simultaneously? |
 |
There is no fix rule, but we count about 3 m2 per skater. |

| Can hoardings with publicity of our sponsors be placed around the rink? |
|

YES. XTRAICE offers the possibility to place publicity boards.
